The big tournament events at Party Poker where you can win huge prizes are the weekly $300.000 Guaranteed every Sunday at 12:45 EST, or 17:45 GMT, and the Party Poker Monthly Million, taking place every first Sunday of the month - this tournament starts at 12:45 ET, or 17:45 GMT.
The $300k tournament has a $218 buyin, and normally has around 2000 participants, wheras the Monthly Million (which replaces the $300k on every first Sunday of the month) has a buyin of $640 and attracts large fields of 2000 players and more, so that often enough the prize money ends up being well over one million.

The Party Poker  weekly $300k tournament has about the best satellite structure that you can find. Starting with Sit and Gos, there is a simple 2 - tier system: you start with a $3 SNG with 10 seats, where the winner gets a "token" for the next level. The good thing here is that most of them guarantee not just one seat, but up to 10 seats in the main event. That means that you do not have to win the tournament, which gives you more strategic options, like sitting the tournament out in the final stages if you have a lot of chips, while you wait for the small stacks to drop out. Those MTT qualifiers are being offered mostly as two-step satellites, meaning that you start with a very low buy-in, and the winners get a seat for the next stage for a place in the final event.

The Party Poker Monthly Million can be entered for little money as well, by playing one of the many satellites that Party Poker offers. Those satelliets start approximately every 3 hoursduring the whole month. In my opinion the best way is to start with the $, three seats guaranteed tournaments, especially if your bankroll is small. In stage 1 you will then unsually play against 50-100 players. You have to bear in mind that those players are mostly horribly bad, unexperienced players, so if your game is any good, you can expect to finish in the top three more often than not. Here, you will find a field of between 20-50 players, and those tournaments are being held at least three times every day, during the whole month.
